Teen may face assault charge
A 16-year-old resident of Yost House in Ann Arbor said another teen threw a crutch at him and attacked him Saturday evening, city police said.
The youths were inside the group home for boys on Yost Boulevard when the assault occurred just before 10 p.m. Saturday. The victim said two boys were throwing hangers at each other, then one threw a crutch, striking him.
The 16-year-old suspect admitted he hit the other boy and said he was upset because the youth called him "soft" earlier in the day.
