Molly

Here’s my favorite poem from this weeks poetry/art project at

Molly

She sits next to her father

Her long haired school girl’s grace

In three-quarter profile

Her mare’s legs pressed beneath her

She complains, petulant and careless

As her father quiets the fall of her hair

With its clasp of silver

Its moment of light
