The Bloom

The Bloom

The reason

For this infiltration

The sight of headband

Penny loafers

Preppie sweater

You really

Can’t control what

Turns you on or

Where you go

From there

And the bloom

Of desire can’t

Be harvested too far

From its immutable root

Which is why I’m here

My dear      precisely

Where I shouldn’t be
