A feminine and intractable creature called the Holy Spirit
Clusters of words forming around her like crystals on a thread
The Wisdom of the Greeks and the Gnosis of the Barbarians
The startling and paradoxical revelation of I AM
The great divide that separates us from true knowledge
The horizon threshold physical and ethical
That lyric moment when she drops her skirt
And reason flees the nature of mind the natural increase
Of disorder Maat the extent of will cogency becomes scarce
The boundary the pull wring out you know the drill the wren
The babysitter the baby sister the Beautiful Goddess Sixteen
Of the Three Rivers
She presents herself
A gift             rapt
In the gauzy awe
Of the expanded present
Meet the limit don’t blink
