About 3:30 p.m., the police reported a man on campus wearing a black tank top and a cowboy hat, carrying a black puppy and a large hunting knife.

Lieutenant Ross said that the man was being questioned, but that it did not seem related to an earlier report of a man carrying a gun and a bomb.
