Gunman robs Ypsilanti man

An Ypsilanti man on Wednesday told police he was robbed at gunpoint while walking home Monday night, according to authorities.

The 20-year-old man said he was walking in the 1000 block of Huron River Drive at about 7:40 p.m. when a stranger approached, pulled a gun and demanded his money.

The man took his cash and ran off. The victim was not injured.

He said he delayed reporting the incident to police because of an important paper he had to complete for school.
