Grill kicked over in dispute; man burned

Ypsilanti police reported they arrested a man accused of kicking hot coals from a charcoal grill onto another man during an argument Sunday evening, reports said.

Officers responded to the 400 block of Washtenaw Avenue for a fight call at about 9 p.m. and found a 51-year-old man with burns to his legs. Witnesses told police the victim and another man were arguing when the man kicked over a barbecue grill. Hot coals spilled onto the victim’s legs. He was not seriously injured.
