THREE POEMS
Ensouled
The first thought
A lacrosse mom
Wasted on sports and lawyers
A shadow puppet princess
Falling on the prison wall
Bone Frog
In a canoe pin
Peter Pan hat
How it becomes clear
In the parking lot
Of Target exactly
What’s waiting
At the
Vanishing
Point
She Waves
A gesture
At once parody
Of her position
As "Class Barbie"
And the strongest
Possible affirmation
Of it
