Not only did Orlewicz stab Sorensen 12 times and decapitate him, he used the severed head like a macabre puppet, Wayne County Assistant Prosecutor Robert Moran told jurors in his opening statement.

Moran said that Orlewicz held up Sorensen’s head and flapped its jaws while saying the words "Hi Alex," to his friend Alex Letkemann.
