A Child’s Dress

A Child’s Dress

A child’s dress on a woman

A sun dress under the moon

In the fields, the Elysian fields

Her face under my hands

Hair stretched in black ink scratches

Across her face

Sandals dangling from brown feet

Shadow scars across my hands

As I touch her

Her eyes are enough

Sending a cloud of mist

Over our head

Kissing the warm heart

Of the world         red

In the night

Where they’ve hidden it
